The Tablet PC SDK is incrementally leveling the programming playing field for C++ developers. With the release last week of the “Input Supplement” last week for the SDK (dubbed version 1.7.5), the Tablet PC SDK now includes a COM layer for the real-time stylus. In addition, the SDK includes the new InkAnalysis API with improved ink recognition capabilities. And it too includes a COM interface. This all is good for C++ developers–which is the language of choice for many mainstream products.
