Weather by zip code

by LCH on September 15, 2007

Why can’t I get the weather for Sacramento by typing the url: http://www.weather/94203? Instead I have to go to weather.com and type the zip code into an edit field. Seems simple enough, but why can’t I just get to the weather I want directly? There is a way to get to the weather more directly and that’s to type the prefix “http://www.weather.com/outlook/driving/interstate/local/” followed by the zipcode of interest. This will give you a page full of ads and the local weather. For the radar map in the area of interest, use the prefix: “http://www.weather.com/outlook/driving/interstate/map/interactive/” followed by the zip code. Yes, it’s a lot of typing.
