I’ve noticed that after putting my Toshiba M700 (running Vista) into hibernation, that if I disconnect a USB device the computer wakes up. I’ve learned to be careful with this–unplugging all devices BEFORE I place the computer into hibernate mode. Otherwise, I wind up stuffing the Tablet into a bag and it does a good job of keeping everything toasty.

When will sleep and hibernation finally just work?
