Rob Enderle demos Windows 7 touch

by LCH on October 31, 2008

In this BBC video interview Rob Enderle shows off Windows 7’s touch features. For this demo he uses an HP Touchsmart.

You know, didn’t I see somewhere that the HP Touchsmart isn’t really even using the Windows 7 SDK in its custom applications? I need to check on this. So is showing two-finger touch on the Touchsmart–which doesn’t look like it works that well all the time anyway–really showing off Windows 7’s multi-touch? This would be like saying Windows supports bookkeeping because QuickBooks can run on it. That’s not accurate. Maybe I’m wrong here. Anyone know?
