Ink input showcased in Engineering Windows 7 blog

If you haven’t seen what ink looks like in Windows 7, you need to check out today’s post on the Engineering Windows 7 blog.

Of the many ink improvements and extensions in Windows 7, some of my favorites are smart corrections in the TIP:

a much improved East Asian handwriting recognizer:

and the new Math Input Panel:

The only missing thing here would be an actual SDK for developers to access the math recognizer. Maybe that’ll appear in future versions of Windows.
